Sequence

beforeGet your reports free at annualcreditreport.com. All three, because an item is often on one and not the others. If you have not, we will wait rather than guess.
first 5 minWhat happened. A decline, a letter, something you spotted. Whatever order it comes out in.
next 15 minLine by line through what you have. Every item goes into one of three piles: worth disputing, not worth disputing, ageing off soon anyway.
last 10 minThe honest version, including whether this is worth paying anybody for. Then any questions, for as long as you have them.
same dayA written summary by email. Yours to keep, and to take to somebody else if you would rather.

Scope is easier to hold when the exclusions are written down at the start rather than argued about in week four.

A sales call. Nobody will ask for a card, and nothing is signed on the call.
A score prediction. We will not give you a number and you should be wary of anyone who does.
Legal advice. If your situation needs a lawyer, we will say so and stop.
